unusual to see the knurled taper when there's a tapered collar. is it a case of "get a grip , man?"

See loads and loads of swa 'terminated' into black plastic stuffing glands on new builds etc

especially on outdoor lights etc
 
Problem is this still requires some level of skill to termination properly...

The way i keep seeing Swa installed recently is they cut off all the armouring and just take the inner cores through the stuffing gland.
 
i'll never master a computer while i have a hole in my arse. spawn of the devil. never do what you want them to do, and then they mix it all up. still what do we expect from something that can only count to 2.
