Hey guys,

Just had this pop up on me tonight.

I need to install an MCB into a lewden CU tomorrow morning and I don't have a local wholesalers that sells them.

Does anyone know what MCB fits into this board please (other than lewden)

Anything other than Lewden compromises the principle of maintaining a type tested coordinated assembly, and may come back to bite you if something goes wrong in the future, related or otherwise.

Thanks for the replies.

This is to test a temporary supply to a pump that will be run for a short period of around 15minutes, the board is a temporary setup

I was hoping there would be another option than change the board but doesn't seem that way..

my post above explains why.

This just landed on me tonight, I was going to pop to the site in the morning as the existing MCB is overrated and needs reducing.

It's only a temp setup to commison a pump and I would be in attendance at the board the entire time..

I will see what options I have in the morning at the wholesalers and if they don't have one I'll swap the board.

Thanks

Hang on.....did I read this right??? You're gonna change the board which is temporary anyway for another board which I assume will also be temporary so you can test a pump for 15 mins which you will be monitoring the whole time!!! Lol

Why not stare at your clamp meter for 15 minutes with your overrated MCB still fitted instead haha :)

The company commissioning the system will only sign off the system if it comply with their spec (this is what I just got in message). Tick sheet stuff probably.

Ill get a new board and see how it goes in the morning once I meet the enginner.
