I have an Onkyo SR606 with 4 bookshelf speakers (no bass or centre).

Just seen this though http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/1521...3D710-134428-41853-0%26rvr_id%3D1079341548303 and am thinking of getting it as it appears to connect to the router and has more hdmi inputs than mine.

Varies. At present, amp choices in the living room are: Pioneer SX-1980 receiver (top of line in 1978, 270Wpc at 0.03%), Leak Stereo 20 (El84s in 43%UL, 10Wpc @ 0.1%) or Richard Allan A41 (20Wpc class A transistor designed by Jim Sugden). Speaker choices: Shackman Dynastats or Kef Concertos (actually Kefkit 3 which is a Concerto baffle in a custom enclosure).

Stereo 20 before and after refurb:

In the early 90's I bought some mission speakers and a denon amp, sounded amazing until the evil no tail smashed them up :boar::sob:
