Which one of the following statements about a PN junction is NOT TRUE?

(A) It is a junction between P type and N type semiconductor material
(B) The depletion region grows smaller when reverse biased
(B) Current will flow across the junction when forward biased
(C) Used in LEDs
(D) Used in bipolar transistors

Could you tell me what is the right answer?

Hi.

The odd one out is B.

When bias is reversed the depletion region widens.
