Hi all,

Hope you are all well and all is good.

Was just wondering which tails you guys use to go from a Henley block to a Garo / Matt-e EV unit. I'm fed up of fighting with them, are there any super flexible ones and what size do you tend to use?

Also which cable glands do you find the easiest and most importantly the quickest to use?

Thanks in advance,

Gringoking ?

Why not use smaller sized tails to feed a small Consumer unit just for the EV?
The tails would be protected from overload by the ocpd on the load side ie the EV charger and as long has they have adequate fault protection then you simply do not have to install anything bigger than 10mm.

The Doncaster Easy-Fit tails are a lot easier to wrangle than traditional 7-stranded, but as above I would expect some form of switch-fuse for isolation and OCPD if coming off the main meter supply via Henley blocks.
