With the breakdown of society on the cards and less police around soon, I'm thinking of fitting an alarm system in my place. I don't want to run cable as new place and Mrs says no to cable, so thinking wireless system. Needs to have internal sounder to 120dB, prox tags and auto dialer and pet friendly pir's. Thinking of between 'Infinite Prime' or 'Honeywell Domonial' can anyone recommend either or know better for the money.

Cheers.

i installed a couple of visonic powermax systems a while back - They seemed quite good - lots of add ons available - and had no call backs in the last six months or so

Personally I don't like the infinite prime, I've installed a few scantronic iOn16 systems which I think are well made quality system. Very user friendly, not had 1 call back. But they do cost abit more, but well worth it I think.

Had a look at the Scantronic ion16, I liked the shape of the end station, most smack head burglars wouldn't know thats the end station, as usual with Scantronic the quality looks good, will give it a try if I can get it for a decent price.
