Dear Forum,
I have a Beha Unitest Telaris 0100 plus tester in need of repair. I have emailed [email protected], the service address on the Beha Amprobe web site and contacted possible companies offering repair services but with no joy.
Does anyone know of a repair facility preferably in the UK? If not in UK then in Europe? Thanks.

You could just send it for calibration to a decent company, and they may look at repairing it.
What's the fault ?

What was that calibration company that used to sponsor us? Can somebody please remember and post a link? They were good.

Hang on www.test-meter.co.uk tell them Dan sent you from the forum and would like to ask if the 5% off offer is still on for forum members.

Youre welcome 🙏🤗☺️

Thank you both for your help.

My meter has been on the shelf unused for over a year. Unfortunately, I did not remove the batteries and during that time 2 leaked onto the pcb. Whether as a result of the leakage or by coincidence, the meter now displays a d.c. voltage when switched to the first position (Uac/dc,f) when there is no connection to the meter and also when the test leads are shorted together. This reading can be positive or negative and steadily ramps up from a low (<10V) value or down from a high (>100V) value. Unfortunately, this "voltage" renders other tests (e.g. Low Ohms) inoperable as the meter "thinks" that there is a voltage (anything over 5V) present on the circuit under test. The leakage on the pcb was not excessive so with the aid of a stiff brush and IPA I was able to remove the visible affects of the leakage. After drying the pcb with a heat gun the problem had gone, but after about 30 minutes it returned. As the pcb has surface mount components, I thought a good soaking in IPA may be beneficial. 24 hours later and after drying, the meter was useable but shortly afterwards the problem returned. Strange!
In response to my email to Beha, I have received a reply from Fluke UK Service Desk (Norwich) stating "we have no repair capability for this unit". Also, Test-Meter, Leeds, are unable to help.
It was an expensive piece of kit when I originally bought it and would still have some use and value now - if it worked!
Thanks again.

I'd suggest a reputable place that repairs phones and mobile devices. They will be able to do micro soldering and can remove components from the damaged area of the PCB and replace / reflow where necessary. Like this guy for example....
