Metal enclosure, plastic front cover, mismatched RCDs that push them out of line.. could get a new board for £70 ish, but no, got this load of carp instead!!

Dealing with the results from an EICR carried out by niceic ac contractractor at a commercial premise at the moment. 6 out of 7. Ccu"s have been condemned as C2's, no other reason given than combustable, checked for damage, ip, thermal, nothing. 7th escaped extinction due to having a non combustable enclosure, which has a plastic cover. Rang niceic tech line, other than things checked for not warranted. On a walk around with no testing or getting a ladder out or plate of ---- loads of C2's not on the report.

No logic sometimes.

The board in the piccy above is semi combustible I guess !! Never seen a mishmash of sh1te gathered together like that though..
Insulated enclosures are very rarely a C2 in my book.

There's no requirement for non combustible CUs in a non domestic installation at all.

sounds like somebody fishing for remedials that are not required. they need reporting to niceic. fat chance of anything being done though as long as their subs are paid.
