Will flat plate double socket and spur switch fit in dual box??

Evening all,

Ive first fixed a double back box and single box together with one of those box spacer things.

Someone told me that the problem with these things is that socket and spur switch will not fit together if they are the flat type as they are wider. I this true?

I think it depends on the manufacturer what size they make the flat plate, although they are better than the normal brass fittings.
Check on the size of the plates you are intending to fit, if they match normal PVC accessories OK, if not then you may well have a problem.

Thanks. Think I will go back and take out spacer and move boxes apart. Don't want the Agro later incase they decide to go for flat plate
