Hi guys, hope someone on here can help me out with this problem. I've got in from work tonight and the Mrs has unwired the dimmer switch.

This is how i think it needs to be re-wired. Am I correct? Also, does black or red go in L1 or L2?

Hi, your picture doesnt work matey, But you may well have 3 wires, 2 black and 1 red. So put the black wires in L1 and L2 and the red in the other. The picture would be very helpful, cheers

I can't see the picture either but I'm intrigued what possessed your missus to dismantle the dimmer whilst you were out?

doubt it, wonder what else shes started to take apart? maybe shes a hands on women and he works in the office if ya no what i mean.
