Appreciate this might be a bit impossible to answer since you don't know how (in)competent I am, but for someone who can wire switches, light fittings, fcu, various common 'simple' bits, is wiring a nest thermostat into my combi boiler something I can do or is it a big no-no?

As with any of my threads, I'm mainly asking about safety here. If it voids the warranty, requires gas cert or is a particularly tricky job to complete then happy to pay someone.

Sorry, should add critical info - there's no thermostat at the moment
