Just checking if this is correct wiring for series parallel on four 6 v batteries to get 12 v output.

I have maximum of 30 amps of solar going in, what size cable is right for the battery bank connections ?
 
Yes but they follow each other so Series, but paralel with each other, crikey my head hurts, I'm going for me Tea.
luckyyou.my significant other is comatose, sleeping so it's the chippy 2nite 4 me. not all bad though, the offy is next door to the chippy.

So the Chippy and the Offy are parallel to each other Tel, no sorry if they are next door that will be Series, to be parallel they would need to be across the road.

Yes that is series parallel, the cable size is dependent on the length of run to the solar; start with 6mm² for a short run and up the size for longer runs, you are trying to minimise losses.
 
Sorry don't know why the thread appeared twice.

What would be the correct battery to battery connections cable size ? I don't even pull 10 amps out of the bank, and the 500 w max output of the panels is never even remotely achieved.
