Discuss Wiring terminal block for induction hob in the Electrical Appliances Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

what does it say in the instruction book .how to wire it .it should show you on the plating or the cover or .

All electrical connections should be made by a qualified electrician. • The appliance must be earthed. • Before carrying out any operation make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the power supply. • Make sure that the electrical information on the rating plate agrees with the power supply. If not, contact an electrician. • Make sure the appliance is installed correctly. Loose and incorrect electricity mains cable or plug (if applicable) can make the terminal become too hot. • Use the correct electricity mains cable. • Do not let the electricity mains cable tangle. • Make sure that a shock protection is installed. • Use the strain relief clamp on the cable

Can someone help please. ImGe attached

Welcome to the forum mate.
If you are rewiring it, how was it originally wired up?

what he says^^^^^. connection diagram will be in the manual. having looked that up.it states that the hob comes with cable already attached, an electrician with a test meter should be able to identify which terminal is which.

L to teminal #1 linked to #2. N could be #4 or #5. that's an educated guess. ( and pirate can do the earth.:p:p:p.).
