If I remember correctly then you will need to have your qualifications converted to cheese, and safety shoes over there are wooden clogs.

All jokes aside. To do any electrical work in the Netherlands, including Holland, you will need to take the NEN 3140/NEN1010 test. You get 2 different ones, a trained person and a skilled person test.

Both qualifications are only valid for 3 years. The good news is that you can do these courses online and for a trained person it is 249 euros and for the skilled person it is 269 euros. You will probably be better off choosing the skilled person one.

The test for inspection and testing costs a similar amount and is is known as [h=3]NEN 1010 / NEN 3140 inspecteren elektrische installaties[/h]

The training will most probably be done in Dutch, but some places do offer it in English.

As for the rest of your qualifications you can probably speak to one of the training providers and ask them how it is with foreign qualifications as they will probably have dealt with something like this before.

Have a look here NEN 3140 exam - PlusPort BV, AREPA Argus, Specialisten in Arbeidsveiligheid Training NEN3140 in English ,

The 1 regs book will set you back about 92 euro and the other one 57.50
NEN 3140:2011 nl - NEN

UIT 10:2011 nl - NEN

Hope that is enough info to get you started
