hi johnd.

have not worked in italy though i am a jib approved spark who lived in italy for 5 years. the reason i did not work as a spark there is because
1.) was married to a rich italian bird.
2.)the average salary for an italian spark is 1250 euros a month.
italy is not cheap an average 2 bed apt is 600 month
a beer is 3.5 euros
car insurance for an average car is 100 euro a month
petrol is 1.35 euro a litre
many companies will want to pay you 1000 a month until you prove your worth as they dont really know about our qualifications etc.
if you need any more info, i will be happy to help my email is [email protected]

Not Italy but I have worked in Germany, Spain, Denmark etc and none of them have got the standard we have here :(

Not true! The standard in Germany is at the very least equal to the UK. In fact, I would say superior.

Well it certainly doesn't contradict itself, like BS7671 tends to do between it's sections!! lol!!
