House full of cats, stinks, start to drop fittings in kitchen,DEAD cat rotting away on top of cupboards.!

Tools packed post haste.

Rewiring a big house while an apprentice, he was a councillor she was a heavily pregnant college lecturer so they must have had something between their ears. We kept finding these cotton wool balls all over the place with yellowish stuff on them.
Then we found the "How to apply" leaflet for the cream she was using.
The rest I shall leave to your imagination my learned friends

Kiers senerio -me too - 20+ cats in flat Feaces etc all over carpets and furniture, harrogate council said we still had to do it, we dropped tools- refused!, they got health and safety to prove their point (although he hadn't seen the property) and they classed it as a health and safety hazard. Tenant was relocated & reported to RSPCA he lost all his cats + a banning order on keeping pets. Took 3 days fumigation and skips full of carpets and furniture.... It makes my >>>> boil to know my taxes fund ppl like this who sit on their behinds smoking weed.

I've been bitten by a rat that was under some floorboards, that was fun

I think I should unsubscribe to this thread, it's bringing back too many unhappy memories

rthe only rats i've come across are a couple of plumbers who have had me doing electrical work on UFH that they've fitted and then knocking me for payment.

Alwasy surprises me that seemingly decent people can live in absolute hovels.
There is a little girl who you may have seen on the tv, with Beckham and other celebs etc, she's not very well at all the poor little thing. Anyhow, was chatting to some joiners in the gym one night, they were refurbing the council house she lives in with her parents, they had to down tools because of the state of the house, shat cit all over the place, and generally disgusting.
One of the scruffiest places I was in was owned by two teachers, dreadful.

Haha, I had this once too, went to the housinf association to complain, was told that I shouldn't worry about HIV, Hepatitis was more likely!!!!! GOOD GRIEF.

Lighting in multi storey car park. Still in use so wed do 1 or 3 levels then move down, only about 6 or 8 levels, anyway, we board off the stairwells one night, next morning theres me going up stairwells with just headtorch, pulling cables off steps, I step back off the steps, "Hold on mate, someones let their dog c**p up here, wait Ill be back in half hour its human"

Kinda hard to be angry with tramps though.

Cathodic protection on a bridge, pigeon ****, which was mostly cleared by specialists, shot blast and hydrodemolition all within 60 metres, nice. Oh and only 4ft of room due to tide level.

Some brill posts there so far, love the cat on the c/b one.
Think the strangest was I see a dead frog in the middle of someones lounge carpet, thought perhaps the cat had brought in so told the owner. Two weeks later it was still there, they must be treating it like a rounderbout. strange folk.........

i found a skeleton once probably a rat with its jaws still firmly clamped around the cable it chewed through. I thought that served the lil f****r right.
