ok so ive just done an eicr for a landlord the house in question was all T&e and the cu was a wylex 6 way board all circuts tested ok ze zs all ok the earths to water gas were in place and both readings were under 0.05 so even though the tails were 16mm the earth to gas and water looked to be possibly 4mm i was going to reccomend he upgrades his cu and earthing arrangements but with all readings acceptable on what grounds can i do this

well then you don't really have a case to change it, you could recommend they replace the 3036s with push in breakers, however a rec only really, you could also rec RCD protection to sockets and you rec they have the tails and earths upgraded, but it is a bit shady really, sounds like it is all okay except a bit dated like millions of other homes I suspect, is the customer keen to have an upgrade or as tight as me?

I was just trying to get a feel for the age of the system, it is quite easy well easy ish to age a system depending on the wylex board.
