Why do you think 6mm what is the wattage of this fan and whats its purpose?

um, this is a domestic kitchen fan that draws 30W and you want to use 6mm?
Do you really know what you are doing?
6mm will work fine, but it is a tad excessive.
I would suggest that you contact an electrician!

thanks, for reply,,thought i was contacting electricans on here,,the fan is a kitchen as required by building regs 60 liters out put per sec & above, manual states 6m I thought it may av been bit excessive the reason i asked opinion of electricians or wud be electricians on here

regards

Hi mate, the power output of the fan is only 30 Watts, you will be able to use 1mm cable,it's drawing less a 1/2 an Amp
