Here is a list of company's/contractors that are falsely claiming to be registered with the NICEIC.

I don't know what action they'll take but have you notified the NICEIC of these people.
There's a builder kicking around our way who has the letters NIC on his van, not the full NICEIC logo but just those 3 letters painted on in a similar way to the proper logo. When I asked him about it he got very coy and after asking if I was a spark he claimed that because he only used registered NICEIC full contractors that gave him the right to have that on his van.
I was pretty sure I was smelling a cowboy so reported him to LABC and NICEIC. I still see him now and again with the same logo on the same clapped out old van so presumably he is still flaunting the law and laughing at all of us who have gone down/want to go down the proper route.

This list is from the NICEIC website, their rogue traders section...

We cannot legally allow anyone to name comps like that... DO NOT use the forums for this type of thread..

I will close this now as of no use..
