    Which Starter Contactor

Yo You will have to install a stop button and change the wiring in the control circuit if you want it to latch on. Only if it is safe to wire it like that.

Reason for testing Live Neutral to Earth

There is no potential between L-N if they are joined together so you can’t damage what’s connected between L-N

7kw or 9 kw kiln on a 60 amp old house supply

9kw kiln will pull around 39amps 7kw kiln will pull around 30amps The Electric showers are quite large as well, usually around 8 or 9kw I wouldn’t be taking a shower and using the kiln at the same time. When do you propose to use the kiln?

Female electricians, for better or for worse?

I see a lot of that on site with men too. No different. I wish there were more woman tradespeople in the construction industry.

Two fused spurs from one current socket?

Not agreeing with it, just after some thoughts from fellow sparks

That’s rubbish, how would an industrial spark diagnose a faulty 3 phase induction motor on a call out? Smell it? Of course they have testers

    3Ø 100amp Question

If it’s for students - based on your description most likely will be ok. Wouldn’t be sticking my name to it until I had full loading specs from each unit. Ie heater sizes etc

    unistrut lighting system

Ah yesss I missed this. Well swap for at least a class II fitting or rewire the circuit if you are going to change all the fittings anyway. Small cost probably.

    unistrut lighting system

Can you quote any reason why it wouldn’t be used? I don’t see no issue with using it as long as it had the correct lid.

3 phase supply to classroom, unsure to TT?

I think he means the flexible braid which is connected between the armours with the steel spring bands. God knows what type of joint?

Recommend powertool kit, sds, impact, multitool etc.

Dewalt or Makita for value for money. By bare units and batteries as I find this is cheaper to accumulate a set and not have what you don’t need. If you can find a good deal on Milwaukee I would buy them. They are on the pricey side of your budget.
