PAT Adapter for Kewtech kt65

What do you guys think of the pat adapter for the kt65

Im not to sure about them to be honest. As it being the only pat tester i own... I just basically want to get other peoples ideas and opinions on this and on what pat testers they would recommend for future reference.

Hows the seaward for everyone out there?

I do very small amounts of PAT testing and did not want to buy a dedicated tester so I use this adapter on my Metrel MFT, yeah it works, no problems.
I did wonder about the cost (but cheap compared to a PAT tester) others have suggested a made up unit with line/neutral soldered together but I did not think this was appropriate.
If you are doing any significant PAT testing then you do not have a good download from a MFT so no go.

Does the job for me for the very minimal amount of PAT I do.... cant justify just yet spending £100's.

Use it with an MFT1552 no problems.

Used it on a kt61 a few times during faults to confirm an appliance also doesnt hurt to test an appliance such as a washing machine etc before fitting so for the price £40 ish it was worth it for me but as said if i was pat testing alot id prob go for a decent one as you have said if you can justify the expence.

Tried it and didn't like it. If you have ten items to test it can be slow to use, so i bought a seaward primetest 220 and it's really easy to use, handy portable size and has all the functions required to test things like earth leakage on electronic equipment (as you shouldnt I/R test a computer). earth leakage cannot be tested on the multifunction with adaptor. hope thats of help.
