Hello everyone, I hope you are having a good day. I would like to ask a few questions about the electrician profession and the journey to becoming one. Thank you in advance for taking the time to answering some questions.
1. What did you study when you were in high school? (if you went) to “prepare” for the profession?
2. For those who got pre-apprenticeship training/went to a vocation college, was it worth it?
3. Was it difficult applying for apprenticeship? What was the process?
4. To be a licensed electrician, did you have to take a test? If so, how difficult was it with the knowledge you already had? How did you prepare?
5. The overall journey, any regrets? Things you would change? Recommendations for someone trying to pursue this career?
