Hi all, existing office building that is being refurbished. Existing DBs (single meter for small power & lighting) need to be replaced. Should split metered boards be installed for landlord areas in addition to tenant areas?

All of our properties that have communal areas are separately metered (it’s my job to inspect and test them), the power bill then forms part of the service charge .

Thanks for the reply, I probably should have been clearer. My query is do the landlord boards that need to be replaced need a separate meter for lighting and a separate meter for power. Existing only has one meter for both
