I have My little fame thingy in 1978 Ian gillan band played at the students union in Bangor ,they stayed at my perants guest house and i went to see them as guests of the band and it was an awsome gig .... hearing still not good after motorhead last night ,the support acts were good one especially guy looked like iggy pop with blond hair but so full of energy

seen Motorhead 3 times now and they do live up to claim of being the loudest band in the world. Best venue has to be in the Hundred club saw Bullets and Octane there missed Avenge sevenfold who played the week before

You've got a point about the 90s bands, Blutones were excellent live.

Think The Verve are pretty good too

seen slayer/slipknot unholy alliance tour couple of years back, oh my days my ears did bleed!! :D

U2, seen them 3 times, the last was last year at DonValley stadium in Sheffield..........awesome. Like Electric light Orchestra as well, saw them at Birmingham NEC a lot of years ago on the Out of the Blue tour. And heres a blast from the past, one of the best albums i own on the Ipod, Strangers in the Night by UFO......how many of you remember them?

i also like Rush, deep Purple, rainbow and the likes. More recently not a rock band, but i think Lily Allen very good.
