There seem to be no really cluas on what's right or wrong. I only ask this question as I have left the electrical trade now and work in a different trade. the work all carried out by me and all the results are as they should be and with current regs. we are not moving as just spent £££thousands...

Devonchris. BC has issued me a completion certificate but this has only been for the garage that we built on the side of the house. I don't belive it covers the electrics iv done.

Thanks all for your comments. There seem to be some confusion with what is excepted and what is not. Maybe for peace of mind I'll just get tested what new eletrical work iv Installed myself. At least Iv coved myself just incase anyone what's certificates.

All the work has been signed off by BC. I think I was looking for the certificate for my own records really. not that we are selling the house but just in case years down the line we do.
