    when you supply a EICR you hand them over ,its up to the person ordering the work if they go with you or not to do the remedials i have never been asked to do a quote with the test certs the same time .

    The 10.5kw shower would take 45Amp. So your cable that is installed. Will not cut it, so your 10.5 shower cable needs upgrading, plus mcb.

    Old VIR cable. no doubt will have an cpc with it. Especially if you have class 1 fittings.

    Ring final circuit results.

    Using the low reading ohm meter, test between Line and Earth on every outlet on the ring circuit. The highest reading is the (R1+R2) for the circuit. The readings at each of the sockets wired on the ring should be very similar and the value should be according to this formula: (r1 +r2)/4.
