How wire up/install 9 LEDdownlights

I am installing 9 LED downlights each with an RGB bulb in (i will try attach pictures on them) - anyway I have been told that they need to be wired in a row. Like in/out - in/out in a ring pattern terminating at the last light. I am going to connect them to my wires where the old light fitting...
