Part p training for non electrician
Thank you. Some good points there. People don’t like paying for an electrician to come fit a spur so security stuff ends up getting put on an extension lead or being plugged into a socket which I don’t like doing so I wondered if there was a way I could do them myself.- Toddius

I understand it won’t make me an electrician but the last house I worked in the builder fitted a new spur off of an existing one which I thought wasn’t legal unless a qualified electrician but he said he done a part p training course and is now able to do so. What are the rules and requirements for doing part p training whilst not being a fully qualified electrician.
