iv just had to pay nearly £1000 for the 2330 lvl3 which starts in september. was told no funding at all (cheers dave) unless you are a youngun. Had the previous 2 years funded and my nvq3 so i cant complain realy.

The thing is they teach you the lot at college which is why we go, the exam just skims the water. surely the point of going to college is so you know what is involved and have a bit of knowlege in eletrical instalations, not just enough to pass a multichoice exam,, the exams the easy bit. :wink5:
if you do the ecs test you will get a labourers card from the jib which will get you on site. once you have completed the 2330 level 3 and you complete an nvq 3 you will be able to get an electrician gold card from the jib.
