Is this cable safe for use?
I was cutting a cable tie off my LG monitor power cable and seem to have nicked the outer sheath. The cable looks intact, works and has been working for hours, and no copper or wire seems to be exposed. The nick is almost microscopic and I had to use my phone to zoom in to see the damage.
