    Emergency Lighting Indicator Lamp

This was my argument but they have said the don't want to mask off completely just to take some of the brightness away

    Emergency Lighting Indicator Lamp

The whole design is short sighted! I don't feel comfortable doing it but I'm struggling to find a solid reason not too.

    Emergency Lighting Indicator Lamp

I've been asked by a client to 'mask off' the green LED charging indictor lamps within several emergency lights fitted within bedrooms on a project I'm working on. I've searched to see if this goes against any regs or manufacturers instructions but haven't found anything. Has anyone done this...

    Standalone AFDD board requiring SPD

Has anyone fitted an SPD to a schneider standalone AFDD DB. Isobar P B Standalone Active distribution board, Acti9, 24 AFDD ways This board only takes AFDDs so there is no where for the SPD MCB to go. There is a DIN rail next to the main switch. Best solar qualification?

    Garden Lighting help

@mattg4321 thanks for the reply. What cable and size was used for such a long run? Starting to wonder if this customer would be better removing the SWA and starting again.

    Garden Lighting help

So my main headache at the moment is that the cable has already been put in (not by me). It's 1.5mm 3 core swa and the runs are about 20-30 metres each. With approx 10 lights per run. I've never done buried lighting before so what would be the standard way to install walk over lights over this...

Customer wants spike lights in...

    UPS via generator. Advice needed

Hi All Had an enquiry about installing a generator fed UPS to a house. I have a minimal amount of experience with UPS but am certainly no expert, the ones I've been involved with were manual changeover and didn't have anything attached (generator was to be hired in the event of a failure)...

    6mm to 2.5mm for sockets

I discussed "future proofing" with the customer but she's adamant she only need 2 double sockets and a light

    6mm to 2.5mm for sockets

The RCD was to protect the sockets/lights in the summerhouse

    6mm to 2.5mm for sockets

Yeah I know what your saying. Did one like that recently. Just trying to keep costs down. There isn't any outside lights etc so hopefully not much that can fill with water at the summerhouse.
