I'm a spark that's been away from the trade (off the tools) for nearly 20 years. I've taken early retirement from my job as a maintenance manager & I'm thinking of starting up on my own as an electrician. I don't need to earn a lot of money - are the start-up problems too much hassle?
im looking at making one of these if i use a 9v battery and use a 9v buzzer in sieries with 9v light i assume , what problems can you see with this.... maybe finding 9v light and holder ???? cheers T.

The forum has been a little bit flat lately so I've come up with a game for us lot to have a laugh with.
When giving advise to other members on the open forum, you have to try and slip in a title of a song or film without anybody catching on what we are up to :).

Hey guys,
Ive been out of the electrical game for 2 or 3 years now after me and my ex business partner decided to call it quits. I found another job in IT and software development so I have kind of lost touch.
I am wanting to start up again on my own, just doing bits and bobs around town...
So, I thought I'd kick off a little game.
Basically you type out a couple of lyrics from a song and name the band/singer.
The next poster then has to include one of the lyrics from the previous post in his reply
Allow me to demonstrate......

hello all there,
I am an old lad that got his technician card and has been out of the installation game since 1999. I want to get back and be qualified to the correct level, the JIB offers no guidance.
Could any of you suggest the best course of action?
