32a 3 phase extension lead.
My dad wants me to make him an extension lead. Currently a 32A 3 phases soscket on a genrator. He has severral different loads ( all motors) but there total loads are about 20A Use some braided SY cable. 4mm 4core or 5 core? I guess its better to have a seprate earth core so 5 core.I need...- Robo

Pat testing a 50m extension lead

Extension lead length
I've seen many cheap(£1.49) 4 way 0.5 metre extensions on sale in Asda and Morrisons. I seem to remember from somewhere that an extension lead has to be at least 1 metre long. Occasionaly, the short cable allows easy placement for audio etc. but I thought it wasn't allowed. Does anyone else...- gdrms

When is an extension lead not an extension lead
I have a 4 gang 13A socket assembly on the end of a roof mounted pull down spring tensioned cable reeler. The reeler is connected via a local DP switched connection unit to a distribution board.
