Stud Walls...fast fix or noggin and metal box?

Which do you prefer on new walls? Pros and cons? I've always put a noggin in but am finding more and more that plasterers seem to measure the height of the socket then decide to cut the board half an inch higher. I don't like how plaster can chip too easy with a pad saw or that the box is...

Threadbare screwhole in electrical metal box

Single or Double Metal box for 10mm?

Hi all What's everyone's choice of box for connected two 10mm t&e for a shower or cooker circuit? IMO a single isolator in a kitchen looks smarter than a double isolator. However, it's easier to terminate in a double.

no cpc or earth terminal on metal box for a light switch

Is there any solution to this short of rewiring the switch and putting a new box in with an earth terminal?
