Sorry if I have spelt the title wrong but is it just me I feel the the French dick when i read some of the posts I get some info but not all , so is it just me

No the worse culprits are posters who ain't sparkies - so their knowledge of technical terms is very limited. And as such it can be frustrating trying to understand some people. Then there are the people who just cannot get a point across.

perhaps it needs a shot of LSD.

It often seems to happen due to the OP being overly cagey about what they're trying to achieve, coming up with an innovative solution to their problem and asking whether or not a particular aspect of it is possible or 'legal' where if they just explained the problem a common solution could be suggested, eg it might start off "can I fit a tupperware box full of relays to an exterior wall?" then after a few pages of interrogation the solution suggested is to buy a floodlight with a pir, or "what is the minimum bend radius and tensile strength of t&e?" which ends up as "use SWA".

Yep I understand the lack of knowledge with the HELP posts but the one with the RCD tripping is this a borrowed earth ? and they are going to test in with their trusty 1553 (sounds to me as they say up here a Cow wi a gun) yet no twin RCD board in use or this is happening only when you switch on the wall heater etc

The very thing I am on about Lucas 123 posts 3 line conductors on the one breaker but after a pile of replies he does not even reply to any enquiries

What gets me are the people who get stroppy because they don't get an reply which is due to the fact no one understands the extremely concise report of the fault they have as a lot of info is missing

Is it me or are more posters, including in their posts "didn't have my tester with me"?

I like the line "My regs book is in the van"

My own regs book has no idea I dont own a van
Confused ? I was after I wrote that

need more beer.

Tried that, nothing makes sense then!

What worries me is if I give advice and things go ---- up for someone!

The lad wanting to know how to connect a generator was a classic at the end of thing I still don’t think he understood the dangers. If any of you go on HV training it’s drummed in to you it’s your pinkies in the cable when farmer Brown starts his generator.

The very thing I am banging on about if you see the "help please what type of supply is this" he gives the Ze but omits the PFC PSSC readingsand then tries to pull me up because I got the terminology wrong ( I was in a hurry) these guys want to be electricians but good God what happened to common sense ie they are at the DB but take one measurement I dont know if it is the end of the week or me thinks I might give the forum a rest for a while

Qualify as an electrician in 20+ questions on this forum or thats what it feels like at times. The combination of DIYers and 5 week wonders wanting answers, no demanding answers only makes me think why bother replying before the internet and forums I spent hours reading books when I needed answers not able just type a question and expect answers to come rolling in

Couldn't agree more. I do wonder why some forum members go out of their way to give detailed answers to anyone!!
