O’er the joists and through the floor
Bend the pipes around the door

Floorboards knacked and nailed back down

Sparky’s tools are in my bag
Buying them is such a drag

Why is seemingly EVERY plumber has NO clue how to lift floor boards, nor how to relay them?
Its not THAT hard to find the joists....I could do it hammered out of my tree on drink....

Recent rewire. Lifted some upstairs floor boards. At main bedroom threshold, found two house bricks stacked one on top of the other (put there by a deaf n dumber) to support a floorboard that he'd cut midway between joists. Home owner wondered why her downstairs ceiling had popped!

My old man spent a whole day repairing a bedroom floor after the wetpants had been in, installing central heating....chipboard sheet floor...cuts like a drunken dog peeing in snow....joists missed everytime...result moving floor...needless to say....unimpressed was an understatement...
