I know a lot of people use their phone to access the site. But some treads get to the stage of being unreadable with the use of SMS TXT. The site is based around a profession and as such a query or answer should be legible.

I don’t know I don’t use text at all! I had to use a translator for the first post.
I have a phone for one purpose, to make or take phone calls.

Couldn't agree more, there's no need for it on a site like this, we bang on about terminology and then read some garbled, mangled hieroglyphic that makes little sense to anyone over the age of 14....

Agreed Tony, I also find it irritating. However it kicked in in my mid to late 30's, when I officially became a "grumpy old man" until 54 (apparently), when lots of other things I'd never noticed before started to really rack me off!
