Hi,

Just wondered if anyone used them at all? I like the look of th Bahco lanyards, Having dropped my cordless and hammer this week from my ladder whilst putting up a load of outdoor lights at 4m, seemed like a neat idea, that and a tool belt with drill holter, will stop me rummaging in pockets for screws etc.

i used a builder's bucket, tied to ladder with a few of feet of 6mm singles. when finished undo and lower bucket full of tools etc.

I recently bought one, can't remember make, and have used it a few times, have not managed to test it yet though but I know it is going to save me a lot of money one day as I am always dropping things. I hook the drill onto my belt or pocket when not in use.

I have a drill holster, but would not use a lanyard.
The connection of it would be a hassle and having a cord attached to you as you try and get the drill in the right place would be a nuisance, normally you don't drop a drill whilst you are using it (unless it twists out of your hand when stalled!) so you only need somewhere to store it when not in use, hence the holster.
