  aha! Iona Abbey, eh? It's odd how folks who love the Western isles somehow gel! I used to sail there all the time, and still love it!

  Off forum post just to you. Brilliant area, including for sailing. I was "maintenance man" at Iona Abbey for a couple of years 36 years ago now (wow - I only just calculated that - I must be getting old!). Live near Beeswing, Dumfries, now.
