Hi there that's the one he was using he connected it across the cooker terminals I always thought that would cause external influences especially if you tested a ring circuit with a wm, dishwasher, freezer etc inductive loads affecting the reading
anybody had any problems with these people mainly installers who say there a fault with the cooker circuit, I was called to a property to check a missing neutral turns out everything was fine after doing checks so left property stating and assuring the tenant everything was fine 30 minutes later...
