    Basically all you need is a 2 gang switch one for the lights and one for the fan job done !! The 3 core comes from the central fan unit and the lighting circuit is 3 plated at the switch. If your competent enough just buy a 2 gang switch turn off the CU and copy the wiring.

    Yeah I posted about using trunking in escape routes I was just defining what the reg covers in terms of escape routes as I just watch a seminar on the new regs and it said this reg does not cover dwellings only communal escape routes in flats.

    To be honest I'm not sure which Edition it is, I normally just C2 anything I don't like just to be on the safe side, as so many people have different views even the NIC EIC seem to know less than I do they basically just say make it up as you go along.
