Discovered yesterday in the ceiling void of a large ground-floor cupboard that DIY Dave has converted to a toilet. Note the unvented fan in the top right corner. :rolleyes:

ETEK protective devices

Although I've not actually installed the complete consumer unit, I have used the RCD as a stand-alone within an IP65 enclosure for an install that I did last year. As no issues have been reported by the customer, I think it's safe to assume that the RCD is fit for the purpose! If I need to fit...

You're correct Gavin, BP Chargemaster EV charging points are installed by their own installers. I've never had enquiries for BP Chargemaster products either.

Fusebox consumers units

That video was uploaded to You Tube in May 2019. However, DSS Electrical subsequently uploaded another video regarding Fusebox boards six months later wherein he is full of praise for the brand. He even goes so far as to say that he thinks they're better than Hager! Conflicting advice indeed...

UK Running conduit in walls to knockout boxes for low voltage cables?

Pricing

Occupied rewires are an absolute no-no for me. The stress and hassle involved outweigh the financial rewards. There are easier ways to earn money.

I think location would be a bigger factor than specification as the price of a rewire varies considerably in different parts of the country. There are muppets up here in Glasgow who are offering to do rewires of two-bedroom houses for £1500. It would cost double or maybe even three times that...
