    You’ve missed my point here. The socket was never faulty to start with just the fact that the user plugged the 3 pin plug under load conditions and blamed the socket for being faulty when they saw a spark and s**t themselves. Verified what exactly?

    No problem at all extending cables in easily accessible box/housing is no different to it being terminated into a socket/spur/switch nothing unprofessional in doing so

    Also just to add in the bathroom anything under the bath/shower basin is considered to be zone 1, however if a tool is required to access under the bath/shower then it doesn’t have any zone.
