    75 volts on earth

    Hi all , was doing a periodic on a domestic board. First I got 75V between the main earth and bonding earth . There was a L/E fault after clearing the fault I've tested between earths and now getting 8V. Is that acceptable , or is it still a fail . Thanx in advance.

    PAT test course ? Worthwhile ?

    Hi all, I've just completed 2330 and now while working towards my NVQ portfolio was wondering if It's worthwhile doing the PAT course now as well ? Is there enough demand out there or too many monkeys undercutting ? Your advice and comments welcome. Thanx

    Cooker cable

    Hi all, just joined, starting my Nvq soon. Was wondering if I'm correct in assuming the cooker can be on a 6mm conductor on a 30amp RCD and the hood can be on 1.5mm if it's a spur?
