How to reduce power to a heating device.
This is an old thread but I'm trying to accomplish the same thing and I don't multi hundred dollar solution, i just need to reduce the power supplied to the water heater. Why wouldn't a voltage regulator work? $25 from AliExpress, rated for 10000 watts. 180v would reduce 3000 watts to 2000. bad...- haysdb
