    Have you or your installer checked the inverter is set to the correct country code? I've had inverters supplied which were pre-configured for another country which has led to this kind of problem. (Solis was not the manufacturer though).

    It may seem strange but higher temperatures push down voltage. Lower temperatures push up voltage. System design needs to factor in possible extreme temperatures. In other words, when panels get hot, the voltage is lower, so what you're seeing is perfectly normal.

    Take the inverter to a friend's house and try it there ? Bring their inverter to your house and see if it works ? You could also try contacting a local solar installer to come out and look at it for you.

    The only sensible way to test which panels are underperforming would be to put either micro-inverter or optimisers on each panel. You may find that a panel with minor scratches performs worse than a panel with serious scratches. Solar Edge would be my choice if you were to go down this route...

    You should be able to install as much PV as you wish under G98 as long as the export is limited to 16A per phase. We regularly install 5 or 6 kWp with a battery and G98 inverter. The DNO is notified after the PV system is commissioned.

    This is one of the silliest examples of poor installation technique I've ever heard of. Those LG panels are top quality. One of the most expensive panels on the market. As a customer, you wouldn't accept a new car with scratches like that on it. Don't you deserve solar panels in great condition?
