As above first course of action taken is two separate the two motors with two separate fuse holders.
I might even put a 1A in each as I don't want to damage the actuator motors.
Does it make a difference whether to combine the neutrals on the PULSE transformer or keep them on separate rails...
James; The connectors are indeed the 2 pin and I have wired the kill switch wire to the -24VDC .
Perhaps I wired one of them to -24VDC and the other to +24VDC on the second connector.
Not sure why it would mean it would work a certain way...
As the title suggests; I have a fuse that is blowing on a 24VDC circuit.
I was worried I had damaged the servo motors as they cost a bomb.
the motors, I connect and disconnect at the BNC point on the diagram.
I plugged them in and it was blowing fuses. I tried 1a 2a 4a (4 amp is ample).
I...
I have been to the college and been offered a place at Level 3 Electrical & Electrical Engineering. 2 year course; As an old bloke lol
It kinda felt odd at the interview.
I have also been offered a panel building 4 day course for £1600...
Let's say in the conventional single phase electrical schematic drawings there is a pc motherboard. All the voltage lines, MCB's etc have been done. How would you now show for instance ; USB from the PC motherboard to a peripheral device such as a printer.
Would it be a straight solid line...
Shall I just build them and get my fully qualified electrician just to check them out and give me a certificate. He is commercial and has done lots of three phase installation of machinery and panels.
If it is shown that I have lets say 10 certificates from him and then I am building them all...
I am 40. dont hold any quals but have always done electrical work with electricians which included panel building. I have built a good few panels without fail.
I am wanting to sell 240V single phase small panels for a gaming machine that I have built.
Is a small panel building course enough...
Using a three phase contactor but in single phase so just live and neatural using L1 and L2 . Is it okay to hook up a pilot light on L3 terminal so when contactor is pulled in L3 becomes engaged hence pilot light turning on.
I dont want to know about aux contact because I will be using that for...
Guys RSEN"2030D but they are from US and the postage will be pretty big. I have been told these TDK emi filters are very good.
Anyone can receommend some emi filters than will 100% be good as tdk ones,
not as cheap as these;Metal Enclosure IP65 800mm x 600mm x 250mm - Galvanised Steel - https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/CMSB806025.html
these are cheapas heck and come with 2mm mounting pate.
hi guys. when you mount din rails into electrical enclosures ; does the screw show from behind the panel?
does EVERY electrical enclosure come with a seperate rear plate spaced out where you can secure din rails into without screws bolts showing from externally. Thank you.
can I use the above isolator switch with single phase 240V wiring. live neutral and earth?
its the right designed switch for me and also it is the right current rating.
if a servo driver has a amp rating of 9.5 amp single phase 240V and peak current at 30amp
what amp rating should be chosen for a emi power/line filter? thank you.
im stucknow,
so 6 mcb's with magnetic contactoras suggested in manual drawing for 3 phase althought imusing singephase 240v (theres no drawing for that)
or 6 din fuse rail way.
and using 6 bus bars (3+3); 2 for live 2 for neutral and 2 for earth. and using two seperate 40A feeds from main...
