Branching off baseboard heat
I need to add shop lights to my basement. I currently have one baseboard heater that runs straight to the breaker. Its a cadet 240v/4.2amp 1000w heater wired directly to a 20 amp double pole breaker.. my question is can this wire be spliced into a junction box and used this for my shop lights?- Jmet79

Baseboard heater wiring
I have two baseboard heaters (1000w and 1500w), both 240V. They are in different rooms of the house. I want to run them on the same 240V circuit- 15A. Two questions: can I put both on the same circuit? And can I simply connect them in a junction box near the panel?- castle554
