surface trunking from flush mount
I've been asked to fit a 13a spur from a flush mounted socket using YT2 trunking. Just wondering how other people do this. Do you replace flush with a surface box or dig a hole out next to the box, cut the back of the trunking and poke through??- Ponty Massive

Cu on board or direct on wall
Whats the current thinking on this? In older properties is it wiser to place the CU on wooden board or is it ok straight onto an unplastered wall, the wall is dry! internal. Sorry im a newbie! Any thoughts or pointers Thanks Guys Si.- sivoodoo
