Cable selection taking into account ''Startup Current''
New to these forums an just finished my apprenticship.. Just have a quick question.. When selecting cable for small commercial fan motors do you have to take into account the startup current? The motors usually are around 9.8A FLC and sometimes have a startup of around 30-35A. Do i need to...- DanBrown

Taking Your feed to switches
Hello eveyone. If you have taken your feed to a lighting switch. In accordance with BS7671 are you able to joint out the feed or must you use a double pole switch. Can`t seem to see anything within the regs that clarifys this issue for me. thanks Rich- trickster77
